About bob:

Bob excels at identifying issues within complex real estate assets, dissecting them, and formulating strategies to resolve them through innovative and market-based solutions. He has proven success in all sides of the commercial real estate process: lending, appraising, project managing, leasing, and capital structuring. Bob’s dedication to the job has allowed him to develop a high level of specialized expertise, maintain respect among peers, and remain successful through all endeavors.

Bob’s 35+ years of experience make him incredibly resourceful on the financial end of real estate development. Early in his career, he worked as the Vice President of Asset Management for PNC bank, leading and managing a $300 million portfolio of office, industrial, multi-family, and retail properties. He was responsible for preparing and presenting internal and external financial quarterly reports, budgets and schedules, and managing third-party property managers, construction costs, and leasing brokers. After six years there, he then worked as the Vice President of Development and Finance at Caves Valley Partners. While there, he managed all aspects of the pre-development and development process, focusing heavily on project finance. While working there, he obtained over $40 million for multi-family and office / retail development projects. A few years later, he worked at Continental Realty, and managed a portfolio of real estate assets for a privately held real estate investment and development company. His responsibilities included sourcing, structuring, negotiating, and closing short and long-term mortgage loans to meet investment strategy objectives for the portfolio. Bob has financed over $350 million in assets utilizing various community and regional banks.

Throughout his career he also dedicated time to serving on boards and volunteering. One of the most notable instances is his 2021 board seat for Coastal Carolina University Real Estate. He’s the Associate Director for the Grant Real Estate Center and Undergrad CRE program and plans to pursue more with the University once he has moved to South Carolina.
