JOB SUMMARY:

  • The Director of Construction is responsible for ensuring that transformative change is integrated into both the planning and construction of all Tipping Point projects. Most importantly, the physical spaces that our clients wish to build, must be in alignment with the organization’s mission, values, and strategic goals.

  • The candidate will drive results through innovative and timely decision-making, and lead project teams with firmness and inspiration. Success hinges on effective communication, rapid learning, and efficient delegation, particularly when overseeing multiple projects tailored to meet the unique needs of local communities.

  • Additionally, fostering strong relationships with subcontractors and other project stakeholders will be crucial for seamless project execution. The candidate’s primary goal is to drive construction outcomes through collaborative innovation, while ensuring end-to-end creativity throughout the project process.

  • Communicate regular updates, photos, videos, during important moments throughout the project process to Tipping Point’s internal and external marketing team

 

This is not an entry level position. The ideal candidate for this job is a professional who has managed complex construction projects and has a positive track record in building relationships with subcontractors.

Compensation will be uniquely determined by experience level of the applicant, and the volume of projects that Tipping Point has under contract at the time of employment.

​

Since Tipping Point’s process and approach to real estate is non-traditional and unique, all new hires begin on a 4-month contract period, which results in an offer for full time employment.
