Gateway Center Design Plans Unveiled

Officials from the Wheeling Convention and Visitors Bureau unveiled plans for the new Gateway Visitors and Heritage Center, which will replace the former Wheeling Inn. The $18 million project will include a welcome center, rooftop restaurant, and access to the Heritage Trail, with completion expected in the next few years. Demolition of the old inn began following the presentation.
