Gateway project gets five remediation bids, focuses on cost-quality balance

WHEELING, W.Va. — Five bids for environmental remediation and demolition have been received for the Wheeling Gateway project. The former Wheeling Inn site received offers ranging from just over $400,000 to $988,000. Two out of the five companies are based in the Ohio Valley. Wheeling-Ohio County CVB Executive Director Frank O'Brien said getting the job done right is their top priority, not cost.
